(一)激趣

使其乐学兴趣可以促进学生努力学习学生有兴趣才会乐于学学生乐于学才能提高学习效率陶行知先生认为学生有了兴趣就会用全部精力去做事学与乐是不可分的英语课堂教学要努力为学生营进一个良好的富有童趣的学习氛围并贯穿教学的始终尽可能做到“课开始兴趣生课中间兴趣浓课结束趣尚存”例如在阅读英语文章时学生会遇到自己不懂的词语于是笔者就教学生查字典开始时先讲查字典的好处(激趣)学生的兴趣来了笔者再讲查字典的方法用比赛的形式分小组查字典计个人得分小组总分看看哪个小组查得又快又准在查字典时学生兴趣盎然积极性相当高不停地翻动着字典最后计算小组得分“胜利”的小组兴高采烈“失败”的小组也不甘示弱他们纷纷提出“再来一次”的要求通过查英语字典比赛不但使学生通过自己的努力去读懂、理解一篇英语文章可以牢固地掌握查英语字典的方法连平时对查字典不感兴趣的学生也提高了兴趣掌握了方法提高了技能

三、学生心理素质的培养
