When I worked in my school as a tutor of English as a Second Language for students from a community school in Muscat, I realized the importance of a strong leader who could organize, command respect, and be able to work well with others. The last 4 months have been crucial in my learning of real world business and economics. For my IB Extended Essay, titled “To What Extent Does Subway in Oman Operate as an Oligopoly”, I set out to prove the oligpolistic structure of the fast food market in Oman. In this effort, I have come across many real life complexities in pricing behaviour, profit making and other aspects of the Theory of the Firm. While attempting to explain these alternate theories of firms I have developed a keen interest in analyzing and understanding how the world of business works.
After an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance or management I plan to go onto post graduate studies and work on an MBA. A strong performance in a BA will allow me to move onto an MBA and only then shall I be satisfied.
For the last four years I have been part of our schools volleyball team ICE. We have retained our ISAC (Inter Schools Activities Conference, Middle East) title for four years. Playing in the power hitters (spiker) position requires immense physical fitness and to accomplish that I regularly go to the gym for fitness training. I am also part of my school track and field team. Being the fastest sprinter in the school since 11th grade the 100m, 200m and 400m races are my specialty even though I still pursue long distance running. In my spare time I explore and master the computer as I am conversant with a Visual Basic Programming course. It is imperative for me to have the latest hardware and software and I make it a point to install everything myself. I also learn Urdu as it is my native tongue and a link to my culture, to maintain that is crucial.
Living in a diverse international community of over 52 nationalities has allowed to me recognize and appreciate different cultures. With the experience I have and the strong motivation to craft a bright future I feel I can justify my decision to pursue a career in Accounting and Finance or Management.

Five years‘ academic study in the School of Architecture and Arts of University of _ transformed my instinctive excitement and imagination about architecture into systematic knowledge and comprehensive understanding. This transformation, first of all, lies in my skills in the fine arts. Differing from my previous mere interest in fine arts, the study of architecture makes me begin to ponder on how to draw using aesthetic elements from fine arts such as color, lighting and composition to apply to architecture. Because of my childhood architectural background, coupled with my lasting keen interest in architecture, I gained excellent achievements in the major courses of my college study, ranked top three in the class, and also received first prize scholarships and many other scholarships for five consecutive years. Besides, owing to my understanding of architecture, I am not satisfied with mere textbook knowledge. I believe architecture is not only a skill but also, more importantly, a combination of creativity and imagination. An excellent architecture designer needs not only solid architectural skills and knowledge, but also needs nourishment from fine arts, materials science, engineering and culture. For that purpose, I read quite extensively, understood the architectural history of different countries - especially European architectural history, learnt from works of modern and contemporary architectural masterpieces, and gained insights on their design conceptions that are full of creativity and connotation. The knowledge I have gained from these efforts heightens my interests and my desire for creation.
I had the opportunity to put to practice this desire for creation during the last stage of my college study. During the second semester of my fourth year, I interned with _ for half a year where I participated in the environmental design of the _ astronomical station and the conceptual design of the Phoenix Residential Complex in _. These experiences gave me insights into the relationship between a building‘s space and its functionality, as well as architectural design‘s feasibility, which is an important factor to consider when designing.
After graduating in 2002, I worked with an excellent architectural design institute, engaging in architectural design. In the meantime, I participated in the conceptual design and design drafts of the janitor’s room, the main machine hall of _ Company Ltd. I was also responsible for the design of the drafts of the multi-purpose hall in _ , _ and the renovation design of the _ Archives of the _. Because of my prominent achievements, I was quickly promoted as an exception from draftsmen to designer, and I later got the assistant engineer certificate in a short period of time.
The design experiences from these projects made me very interested in creatively applying materials in projects. 一、气候宜人

二、环境舒适

早晨或晚上都会又一波接着一波的居民和学生来到操场跑步，还有的老爷爷拉吊环和双杠，另外，有跟着广播音乐跳舞的阿姨。不爱锻炼的人也会不知不觉被这全民健身的氛围所感染，慢慢加入健身或者减肥的行列，成为健身达人。

1、免费医疗

2、国际学生卡

3、购物退税
在留学签证到期的前3个月，就可以享受退税政策。商店会要你的护照号码和国内的地址，保存好单据和物品以便在三个月之内出关时退税。

4、打工

申请英国留学雅思要求
一、 雅思5.5分
如果学生的雅思成绩只有5.5分的话，无论平均成绩多少，什么专业，想要申请到一般的大学都会有点困难，更不用说好的大学。在这种情况下，如果学生不能继续考雅思的话，学校或者老师都会建议学生去英国读一段时间的语言课程，或者是读预科。
这也是目前大多数语言不过关的学生普遍用到的方案。最终考试达到学校的要求才可入读正课课程，而达标要看每个学校的专业要求。
二、雅思6分
雅思6分在申请英国大学的大军中也只能算是中下游的分数，想要申请好学校就有点难了，一般都是在排名五六十开外的大学。

出国留学美国大学预科申请条件和流程
一、美国大学预科申请条件
1. 年龄：美国大学预科对于年龄的限制是16周岁，但是也有很多大的学校是没有年龄限制的。
2. 资金充足，美国预科的费用是相对昂贵的，因为读完语言班之后就需要进入本科或者硕士的专业课程学习，资金准备要充足。
3. 语言成绩，虽然仅仅是申请美国预科，但是对于语言成绩也是有一定要求的，对于语言成绩的本科秋季最低52分，春季63分，还有部分学校有分数限制(73分)，硕士预科的成绩最低托福61分，雅思5分。
4. GPA，对于GPA的要求，申请的学校不同，GPA分数不同，大体在2.0-3.5。对于美国顶尖学校的预科，GPA要求仍然是在3.5+。
5. 学历要求，申请美国本科留学的预科需要有高中毕业证，硕士预科申请需要大学学历学位。
二、美国预科申请流程
1. 选择学校，考虑语言之后要进入大学学习专业课程，所以在考虑哪些学校提供预科课程的同时，还要看一下申请人心仪专业的学校课程设置，学校专业排名，可以参考US NEWS等排名，也可以咨询专业人士。
2. 登录心仪院校的官网，查询申请截止日期或者对于录取的各项条件及要求。
3. 参加考试，因为申请美国预科也需要一定的语言成绩，所以托福，雅思成绩也要提供。
4. 在读证明，如果是仍然在读的学生申请预科需要学校开具的在读证明，盖上学校的章，放在学校的官方信封里。

出国留学硕士申请材料一览
1、学位证和毕业证

4、个人简历(Resume)
如实写出自己的经历就可以了，要注意突出自己的闪光点。另外就是不要超过两页。
5、PS(Personal Statement)
PS也就是自述，它在申请材料中占有重要地位。通过PS，教授可以看到你这个人是不是就是他所需要的。如果我们可以把申请比作找工作，把教授比作老板，那么申请文书就是你的工作能力证明。如果不能够在申请文书中充分展示，并且这种展示没能投教授之所好的话，你的申请就注定是失败的。一篇合格的、出色的PS的出炉需要经过1、2个月甚至更多时间的反复修改、沟通、再修改的过程。可以说这样的PS是字字珠玑，没有一句废话，紧密的为你的申请目标而服务。
6、论文、获奖证明
如果你发表过学术论文，可以把论文的Abstract(摘要)附在申请材料中，如果论文级别较高且是英文的，也可以作为附加材料寄过去。另外如果你获得过或者国际竞赛的奖项，那么也可以作为附加材料寄过去。
7、财力证明
现在一般学校都不会在申请的时候要求学生提供资金证明，大部分是录取后申请I20的时候才需要。对于自费的学生来说，这是证明你有能力负担几年的学习和生活费用的重要材料。
8、申请学校要求的申请表格
绝大多数学校的申请表格都是网上填写，在线提交就可以了。只有极个别学校是要求打印下来，手工填写，具体的要求要看各个学校的网页。

However, honestly speaking, my real interest lies not in economics, but in education. Ever since I was a primary school student, I had cherished a strong desire for a teaching career exemplified by my teachers. In the actual teaching career that I embarked on upon my graduating from university, I have become increasingly aware that the existing educational conditions in China are far from satisfactory. The backward teaching methodology and the prevailing pedagogical ideology have rendered Chinese education out of place with the modern international development in education. On the macro level, the current education theory and practice in China lag significantly behind advanced countries in the West. For instance, though education via the internet has achieved considerable development in past two years, in practical operation such education has more often than not deteriorated into an extended form of the conventional examination-oriented education instead of a really interactive process. In my personal experience, despite the fact that some of the problems that I have encountered in my teaching career can be solved by consulting relevant technical literature, I have found that the more serious flaws inherent in China's current educational system cannot be worked out easily. Under such circumstances, an advanced program in education becomes necessary.
In this age of information, traditional education, both in its ideology and methodology, has met unprecedented challenge like many other aspects of human existence. Meanwhile, the pursuit for higher levels of educational development and of the quality of life has largely transformed the educational value orientation of the general public. The educational model that is centered around the cognitive and intellectual instruction has been seriously questioned. Greater attention has been devoted to the cultivation of well-developed personality and to the ontological status of the individual in education. Such issues as the internal studies of education science, scientific decision-making in education, and meta-education have also been increasingly emphasized upon. Both the complexity of education and the complexity of human individuals have made the comprehensive application of diverse educational approaches necessary. Those new horizons are what fascinate me.

一、专业的排名
对于排名，我们要理智看待，其实专业的排名，没有你想象的那么重要。
也可以说，这排名的重要性可能被过度放大了，它实际没有你看到的那么大。
举个例子，哈佛之前在很多工程专业的排名上都上不了榜，但是几年之间，就到10多位了。
后来可能专业建设的好等原因，排名又上升了。这个可以说明，专业排名是可能有变数的。

1、基本文件

4、正式入境

1、入学条件不同

预科和语言学生虽然都是学生签证，但是政策也是完全不同的。预科学生在学习期间不得打工，语言学校的学生一周可以打工20小时，假期可以打工40小时。预科课时比较紧凑，且专业课和语言课是同时进行的。
